    Apsley
Tiny township on the Victoria-South Australia border
Located 420 km north west of Melbourne and close to the South Australian border, Apsley is a tiny township with a population of less than 250 people. The town was named by the Victorian Government Surveyor in 1851 after Apsley House, a gracious home in London which had been given to the Duke of Wellington after his victory at the Battle of Waterloo.
